It has been a bit silent on this page over the last months, but rest assured that a lot has happened (and is still happening) behind the curtains at Oaken Palace Records!
I am delighted to inform you that Oaken Palace Records has finally been registered as a charity with the UK Charities Commission! This was a very important step for me to establish the credibility of this undertaking in the eyes of all supporters – both bands and fans – of the label. Now I can provide you with an official testimony that proves the 100% charitable purpose of Oaken Palace Records beyond my personal promise. The label is listed in the UK Register of Charities, and you can find it by entering the charity number 1154786 in the search field.
To celebrate this significant milestone in the history of Oaken Palace Records, you can now buy all current releases in one package for a reduced price in the Oaken Palace Online Store. And don’t forget that you can get all our releases in the US via Tedium House/Midheaven and in Europe via Sonic Rendezvous!
Finally, James Plotkin has finished mastering the upcoming Plurals album “Bugenès Melissae”, and the test pressings have been ordered. They should arrive just before Christmas, and you can win 1 of just 8 hand-numbered copies by liking and sharing the recent post about charity registration on the Oaken Palace Facebook Page. More info, samples, and artwork will follow soon!
A big thank you to all of you who continue to support this unique endeavour! This is as much your achievement as it is mine – so keep on spreading the word, buy Oaken Palace releases, and help to save endangered species!
